Introducer terms of engagement
How The Bitcoin Bay operates as a business introducer.
Business introducer role
The Bitcoin Bay operates as a business introducer between prospects interested in hosted Bitcoin mining and hosting operators or ASIC vendors. In this capacity, The Bitcoin Bay:
- connects the prospect with one or more partners identified as relevant to their use case;
- may receive compensation from the partner if the introduction leads to a transaction;
- does not sign a sale or service contract with the prospect;
- processes no payments between the prospect and the partner.
Paid audit service
Separately from the introduction, The Bitcoin Bay offers a paid operational audit service (€500 to €3,000 depending on the format). This service is invoiced directly by The Bitcoin Bay to the client.
The audit is operational consulting. It is not a financial investment advisory service under French Monetary and Financial Code article L. 321-1.
No promise of return
All profitability, ROI, hashprice or forecast figures shown by The Bitcoin Bay are estimates based on disclosed assumptions, displayed next to the numbers. Bitcoin mining involves operational and market risks that the prospect acknowledges having understood:
- Bitcoin price volatility;
- mining difficulty adjustments;
- scheduled halvings;
- ASIC hardware obsolescence;
- energy cost variability;
- regulatory developments in France and in hosting jurisdictions.
Limitation of liability
The Bitcoin Bay is not a party to any contract signed between the prospect and the partner following the introduction. Any claim relating to the performance of that contract must be addressed to the relevant partner.
Amendments
The Bitcoin Bay reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. The last-update date is shown at the bottom of the page. Applicable terms are those in force at the time of the introduction.
